Nefes (“the app”, “we”) is built with privacy as a core principle. This page describes what data we collect — and more importantly, what we don't.
What we collect
Nothing. Nefes does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data outside your device.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the following locally on your iPhone or iPad using
Apple's UserDefaults:
- Your session history — completion date, technique, duration, optional emoji rating.
- App preferences — daily reminder time, sound and haptic toggles, app language.
This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
In-app purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your payment information or Apple ID. Apple manages the entire transaction lifecycle. For details, see Apple's privacy policy.
Third-party services
Nefes does not integrate any third-party analytics, tracking, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. There are no third parties involved.
Notifications
If you enable the daily reminder, your iPhone schedules a local notification at the time you choose. This is entirely on-device — no servers are involved.
Audio
Ambient sounds (rain, ocean, river, white noise, birds, wind) are bundled inside the app and play from local files. We do not stream audio.
Children
Nefes is suitable for users of all ages and does not collect any data that could identify a child.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and adjust the “Last updated” date above.
